Isabel - if I knew then what I knew at 12 noon today

Being in Pittsburgh, the closest H&M store that carried the Isabel Marant line was like 4 or 4 1/2 hours away (in Georgetown D.C. Area) . Therefore, I took to the H&M app. I was one of those that got the Try Again message, but I figured out that the app tended to refresh more often than the actual website. I was frantically tapping between my iPad and my iPhone.  My iPhone got into the site only to crash a few seconds later. Then my iPad got in and I put two items in my cart and then crash! Nothing! I kept trying and finally got in again on my iPad. Everything, after only 45 minutes! Was saying sold out. I was frantically swapping items and sizes in and out of my cart, desperate to find something that I could actually buy- but to no avail. My target items were sweaters, though they were all saying sold out online. What I didn't realize at the time was - I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THE ITEMS IN MY CART EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE SAYING SOLD OUT ONLINE. As I continued to hold the one lonely black and white Melange sweater in my cart, even though it said sold out online, after I kept hitting check out now about 20 times- it FINALLY went through!! And then the sweater was mine all mine!!

En route

As if I was not shopping enough this weekend (darn you J Crew beautiful cashmere sweaters!), I just cannot muffle this little voice in my head that says, "Duh...you totally need more shoes!" In fact, I completely agree. I contemplated this purchase for awhile. I am not one to turn away from a look that might be a little bold or a little eccentric, so with that in mind...

Check these out. Soon to be a new addition in my closet- or added to the ever growing collection now living on the floor outside of my closet, because my actual closet is full :)

OTK Camo...loving it!

Inspiration

After a long weekend trip to Chicago, I am feeling very inspired- at least when it comes to fashion.  I scored some leopard shoes, an amazing new bag and a pair of suede berry colored booties.  Those were the bigger purchases, I also bought a sweater, shirt and a small embroidered bag.

Here are some other items I hope will soon be mine!  I will point out that I am on the hunt for a perfect black bootie.

Leopard Love

This fall, I must say that I am completely obsessed with leopard heels.  There are truly some great ones in stores right now, so I figured I would combine a list full of some of my favorites.

These two are from Kate Spade. I really love Kate Spade shoes.  They are classic and beautiful, but with a modern and feminine twist.  AND they are really comfortable.  Sometimes a classic pump doesn't really fit my foot all that well, but I find that Kate Spade pumps fit like a glove.

I also typically like MICHAEL Michael Kors shoes. I have a few pairs, some bought in the last year- (black and purple suede sandal heels, pointy toed patent pumps) and they really are a good go- to shoe.  I can wear them to work, to dinner, with jeans or even glammed up.  I thought these leopard booties were original and very versatile.

These Ella Moss booties are awesome! I LOVE western style, casual booties and these are great!

These London Trash boots available via Nordstrom are so cool!

Sam Edelman shoes are always funky and stylish like these boots.

Another boot, the zipper detail really adds to the uniques quality of these DVF shoes.

These Kurt Geiger shoes are available via Nordstrom.  I tried to find them at my local store, but they didn't have my size.  These definitely run a little small.

Another Kate Spade option.  These sandals are adorable. I love the bows!

A more expensive option, but these Giuseppe Zanotti shoes are beautiful.

Valentino....pink leopard- enough said.

These Jimmy Choo shoes are stunning! I saw them at my Nordstrom and was magically drawn to them immediately.

See ya September

So I am really quite sad that September is already coming to an end, however, it seems to be ending with a bang.  Not ONLY did Lorde's new album officially drop today, but Free People's October catalog came out. There are some truly awe inspiring pieces in this new catalog, I can't wait to scoop some of them up!
